What You will do :
- As a Technical Lead/Project Manager, you will be the lead in managing the successful planning, development, and launch of our company's web projects.
- Your background will include successful web project management experience via various web technologies. You care about project quality, are detail-oriented, and have the capacity to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the execution of web projects from start to finish, including managing project scope, timeline, milestones, resource allocation, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with our internal team to obtain a full understanding of our goals and objectives to provide accurate project scopes, including functional requirements, third-party integrations, schedule, and budget.
- Manage a tech-driven project management tool stack, including PHP/MySQL (WordPress) and Microsoft- SQL Server (ASP.Net), GIT code repositories and more.
- Coordinate project milestones and deliverables with strategy, design, development, content entry, and support teams.
- Analyze and recommend architecture enhancements.
- Agile project management. You will plan for and prioritize all deliverables or resources across all projects based on scope of work and marketing goals.
- Document issues and changes that impact the project and clearly communicate the associated impact and potential costs with the client.
- Manage code releases and the developer lifecycle. You will handle relationships with developers working on technical projects.
- Vetting and hiring external technical talent when needed for technical projects.
- Review and refine processes for managed services.
- Proactively problem-solve by identifying solutions and coming up with solid plans to manage and resolve any problems that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Run weekly or daily check-in meetings with project owners and relative project team members, making sure everyone has visibility.
- Be ready and able to communicate the progress of a project with internal stakeholders.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
The Technical Lead/Project Manager reports directly to the Director/CEO.
Experience and Qualifications Requirements :

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical team members.
- Has a proven track record of keeping projects on time, on scope, and on budget. Proven experience managing projects and cross-functional teams.
- 8+ years of project management experience managing the day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects, web-specific project management experience.
- Must have minimum 8 yrs. in-depth knowledge of Technology Platforms - Browser Support, DDoS Mitigation, Disaster Recovery, Hosting Data Center, Backup Data Center (SSAE 16 Type II Compliant), Web and Database Servers, CMS Development Process, Extranet, Intranet, iFrame Technologies, Web Analytics, Site Statics, Page Templates, System Functionality and more.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of web technologies (CMS / HTML / CSS / Javascript / PHP, ASP.Net), web development process, and web standards.
- Strong experience with PHP/MySQL (WordPress) and Microsoft- SQL Server (ASP.Net), GIT code repositories and more.
- Excels at coming up with solutions and conducting independent due diligence to resolve problems and keep the trains rolling.
- Self-starter who demonstrates autonomy in the workplace.
- Experience working with the agile project management framework and the success stories to back it up.
- Strong written and technical documentation abilities.
- Good understanding of user experience and the design process including informational architectures, user flow mapping, wireframes, etc.
- Experience with mobile apps and web applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours coordinating with international teams.
- A self-starter who demonstrates autonomy in the workplace.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like WordPress, Microsoft and more.
- A solid understanding of technical SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
- Has worked with large databases, complex backends, and APIs.
- Can easily vet programmers and other talent for tech-related projects.
- Have a solid working understanding of IT/devops.
- Project Management certifications, a plus.
- Extensive understanding and coding knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, PHP, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI.
- Experience with product management or in an engineering role, a plus.
Education and/or Experience :
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or similar field.
- 8+ years in a role involving management of technical work product.
