Odin is a social gaming and e-sports platform developed by IIT/ISB/NIT Alumni with extensive experience scaling consumer internet companies such as Ola, Tapzo, Cars24, Dineout, Pristyn Care. Odin is targeted at the 200 million casual gamers in Tier II/III/IV India and seeks to become their default choice of casual entertainment.
Job Description :
- Outline the goals for research and development from a technology standpoint.
- Overseeing further development of existing platform and product offerings.
- Leading the entire technology setup in India.
- Managing technology budgets and time frames.
- Keeping abreast with the latest technology industry trends and developments.
The Successful Applicant :
- Engineering degree from a Tier 1 College ONLY
- Upto 10 years of experience, with 3+ years in a people management role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Java or Scala server-side design and implementation
- Experience in architecting complex, high scale microservices applications
- Distributed systems design and implementation
- Exposure of leading multiple functional teams of engineers spanning backend, frontend and mobile apps engineers
- Proven track record in both people management and guiding technical strategy
- Tech stack : PHP, Web Server Apache/ Nginx, HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery

CTO Responsibilities :
- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company (www.odinapp.in and 2 other brands)
- Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders- feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
