Job Responsibilities :
- Take complete ownership of 2-3 modules in YoloBus product stack right from the development stage to deployment and post-release maintenance.
- Write good quality software with thorough unit tests and high code coverage.
- Work closely with tech leads, CTO for timely delivery of product features and engineering tasks.
- Participate actively in design discussions and defining the long term architecture of the system.
- As Senior Software Engineers, you are expected to work independently and solve technical problems with minimum supervision.
Required Skills :
- BE/BTech/ME from IIT/NIT/REC/BIT's or other top tier colleges with 3-5 years of work experience working on scalable and high-performance web-based products.
- Candidate should have prior experience in working with dynamic mobile and desktop sites which are responsive and highly performant.
- Prior experience with NodeJS, Express, ReactJS, and Redux is a must.
- Strong fundamentals around the Redux lifecycle, store, and middleware.
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS/CSS3, JQuery is must.
- Passionate about implementing elegant User Interfaces and expertise in improving page performance and page load time is a must.
Good understanding of DOM models and browser fundamentals is a must. Candidate should be hands-on with the latest trends in frontend development like Progressive Web Apps, Accelerated Mobile Pages, etc.
- Good understanding of version control tools like Git, Subversion is required.
- Hands-on knowledge of one scripting language such as Ruby, Python, PHP is desirable, not necessary.
- Good communication skills.
- Candidates with prior experience in startups would be preferred.
