Engineering lead for a fast growing Financial Services organisation based out in Delhi NCR, Recently named on the list LinkedIn Top Startups 2019: The 25 hottest Indian companies to work for.
The incumbent will report to the CTO of the company to expand the current technology platform focusing on scale / performance optimization, key areas of focus will be as follows
- Application Scalability
- Security
- Customer Experience / Performance
- Optimizing stack for scale & performance
- Product Implementation
- Application development
- Developing & Managing the engineering team
Responsibilities :
- Develop / prototype new versions of currently functional modules to solve performance or scalability issues.
- Support new application development
- Manage the current PHP / Node.JS / Python / Java Springboots based stack deployed on an AWS environment
- Manage & optimize Devops processes on AWS & GCP across various services
- Partner with Data Engineering team to identify traditional / alternate data across the digital ecosystem and play a role in defining our data strategy road map
- Play a leadership role in implementation & adoption of developed models
- Manage & build an industry benchmark team of engineers, QA, Devops & DBAs
- Scale up a culture of innovation, passion for software engineering and collaboration
Key Skills Required :
- 8+ Years of experience as a senior software engineer with specific experience in a high transaction volume application environment in a consumer facing business environment
- Hands on experience working with
- Advanced Python (Flask / Django)
- LAMP Stack
- MEAN Stack (Nest.JS)
- Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / GCP)
- Experience in CICD Pipelines using Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins / GitLab
- Experience in Data modelling, DBA tools, advanced database administration
- Expert level proficiency in statistical and machine learning modeling techniques
- Experience working in Big Data Platform is a big plus
- BTech from Tier 1 undergrad school, preferably in Computer Science
