Lead Frontend Developer - React.js/AngularJS/Backbone.js (7-11 yrs) (Reward360)

Responsibilities:

- Manage, help and train a team of front-end engineers.

- Implement exciting user flows, engagement widgets for mobile and/or desktop.

- Work and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and different teams for delivery.

- Drive new feature development - from ideation to PoC to testing to scalable production deployments.

- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Perform design reviews and code reviews.

- Implementing highly scalable, secure, robust, and fault-tolerant systems in a microservices ecosystem

- Improve productivity of the team with better CI, CD and automation

- Facilitate and create problem solving culture in the team.

- Demonstrates strong execution skills, decision-making skills, data driven.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in the software industry with at least 5+ years of web development experience and minimum 2+ years of experience managing and leading a team of 3 to 5 software developers.

- Prior experience in working with dynamic mobile and desktop sites which are responsive and highly performant.

- Good understanding of latest web frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, Backbone, EmberJS, Bootstrap, SASS, Foundation, Webpack is needed.

- Knowledge of frameworks such as Next JS, After JS for server-rendered React apps is a plus.

- Excellent hands on knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS/CSS3, jQuery is must.

- Good understanding of DOM models and browser fundamentals is must.

- Should be hands on with latest trends in frontend development like Progressive Web Apps, Accelerated Mobile Pages etc.

- Prior experience with NodeJS, Express is needed.

- Hands on knowledge of one scripting language such as Ruby, Python, PHP is desirable.

- Passionate about implementing elegant User Interfaces and expertise in page performance tools like Google Page Speed, Firebug etc.

- Good understanding of version control tools like Git, Subversion is required.
