Job Description :
- One Fit Stop seeking a Software Development Manager in New Delhi, to lead a Software Development Team of 19 developers and QA staff.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on experienced software engineering manager who can make a strong technical contribution, enjoys coaching/leading the efforts of others and driving their team to excel.
- This leadership role requires at least 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a management/leadership role.
Job Requirements :
- The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing a team that works on sustaining development (fixing defects) as well as full-stack feature development, clearly understand server side language (PHP preferred) and AWS SaaS based architecture solutions, be very familiar with Agile/Iterative development using scrums and sprints methodologies.

- The candidate must be able to build strong relationships across departments and help drive productivity while meeting quality and time commitments.
What you'll do :
- Managing organizational relationships : you'll be the main point of contact for the Development Team, ensuring effective communication to the rest of the organization, especially Product, QA and Support.
- Scoping : you'll be in charge of managing the intake process and reviewing with the Solutions Architect, Scrum Master, APP and QA team lead the scope of work for your team, in extremely close collaboration with other departments such as Product, QA, and Support, to ensure that we deliver with quality to our customers.
- Planning/Estimation : you'll be driving the planning and estimation process and monitoring the team's progress towards achieving our customer satisfaction goals.
- Agile Process control : you'll be the driver of the process definition, implementation and tuning of the SDLC process and reporting velocity, backlog management and other development and quality metrics.
- Technology & Tool Scouting/Selection : you'll supervise and coordinate the technology and tools scouting processes, helping executives in the decision process.
- Quality Assurance/Automated Testing : you'll be in close contact with the Quality Assurance department, monitoring quality metrics and supporting the quality assurance process, including building up the automation testing capabilities.
- Deployment/DevOps/Release Management : you'll collaborate with the Dev Team, ensuring successful delivery to all our customers in the AWS cloud.
- Team management/Staffing/Mentoring : as a manager, you'll be in charge of monitoring team performance, recruit and mentor team members, and liaise between cross-functional teams.
