Skillset:
- 4-7 years of Wordpress development and administration experience with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Design
- Working knowledge of and experience using HTML/CSS for customizing Wordpress and creating standalone pages.
- Solid experience with Google Analytics and Marketing Automation tool like Active campaign
- Solid understanding of SEO and SEO tools including Google SEO tools, Wordpress Yoast and SEO Moz/SEMRush.
- Experience in PHP, MySQL, JQuery, Javascript, HTML, CSS preferred
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Plug-in Creation and Management and Plug-in customizing, Plug-in modification/development and widgets development.
- Expert knowledge in Wordpress installation, configuration, Administration, security, and optimization.
- Server maintenance by taking backup and cleaning unnecessary files, Plug-ins etc.
- Cloud Experience especially in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience in Agile/scrum methodology
- AdTech or Digital Marking domain experience is a pulse
- Excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain pages and blogs using Wordpress 3.8+ with Altitude Pro Theme with Genesis Framework Package
- Customizing the theme and managing the web pages with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Strong understanding of PHP & MySQL
- Integrating third party API/WebService
- Integrating Chat, Payment Gateway and Video Player
- Maintain a Development, staging and production instance of Wordpress on AWS. Regularly refresh staging from production backups.
- Keep Wordpress, themes, and plugins up to date
- Setup and use Google Analytics and track website traffic, visitor behaviour and conversions.
- Monitor website speed using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights. Ensure excellent website speed using Wordpress and HTML/CSS optimization techniques.
- Continuously improve website Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing (SMM) and Email Marketing performance using any SEO/SEM tools, Google Search Console and Wordpress Yoast.
- Collaboratively work with graphic designers and marketing colleagues
- Provide weekly website performance and conversion reports to management
