PHP Developer Responsibilities:
- Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
- Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules. Write - clean-, well-designed, with comments code
- Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
- Troubleshooting application and code issues, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
- Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
- Updating and altering application features to enhance performance. Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Produce detailed specifications and contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow industry best practices
- Good team player that is enthusiastic about delivering results
Skills and qualification required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field.
- Knowledge of PHP web frameworks, Angular JS is added advantage.
- Understanding of open source projects like Drupal.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Previous experience creating scalable applications.
- Proficient with code versioning tools including Git.
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc.)
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Ability to project manage.
- Good problem-solving skills and passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- Knowledge of Drupal will be an added advantage-
