Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Developers with at least three years of advanced PHP with MVC framework (CI, Laravel, etc.) along with
- Javascript frameworks. Also looking for similar developers with expertise for WordPress (WooCommerce), Magento and Shopify platforms.
Ideal candidate would have :
- Experience with payment gateways - developing and integrating
- Experience with plug-in development
- Experience with theme development, customisation and migration
- Knowledge of payment methods (an absolute must)
- Knowledge of working with BitBucket / GitHub check-in/out, Jira, Slack and AWS environments
- Experience with Agile SDLC (a huge plus)
- End-to-end knowledge of the e-commerce cycle (from site creation to order completion)
- Experience with the submission of apps/plug-ins for e-commerce marketplaces
- Exposure to FinTech / E-commerce / Payments / Lending industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with handling overseas clients and online meetings/discussions
Technical Expertise Required :
- PHP, MySQL(i), HTML and jQuery
- Good understanding of JavaScript and Angular JS technologies
- Experience with building restful JSON / XML web services
- Basic knowledge Website Design (CSS, Responsive, Bootstrap)
- Expertise in payment gateway integration like Stripe, PayPal, CCAvenue etc.
- Understanding of web standards and compliances
Job Responsibilities :
- Developing plug-ins, custom functionality, and themes (for WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc.)
- Developing and maintaining complex WordPress-based applications
- Developing front end using Javascript / Angular JS technologies
- Using online tools for collaboration, bug tracking, project tracking, and Git repository
- Handling various development tasks during the web development life cycle from start to finish
- Heavy lifting of website data, migrations, etc.
