Responsibilities :
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc
- Writing clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way
- Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases
- Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders- feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Codeigniter etc depending on your technology stack
- Good knowledge of Scripts (NodeJS, AngularJS, ExpressJS, React)
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, XML, jQuery
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases(MongoDB, PostgreDB) and their declarative query languages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, Jira
- Should have Server related knowledge of following providers GoDaddy, AWS, DigitalOcean, BlueHost, Hostgator, Apache & UI/UX design
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Rest APIs, Google, Facebook, Twitter etc)
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- Proven 8 years working experience as a technological role & 5 year managerial experience or similar leadership role
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Understanding of budgets and business-planning
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research

- BSc/B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
