Job Description : Zycus is looking for Middleware Specialist with experience of 4-9 years having strong expertise in application support and middleware technologies(Redis, Memcached, Couchbase, Aerospike, etc.)
Requirements :
- Subject matter expertise in 2 to 3 key-value technologies viz, Redis, Memcached, Couchbase, Aerospike, etc.
- Expertise in administration and scaling of messaging technologies viz, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills for complex & large scale infrastructure issues
- Experience in scaling RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Expert in the configuration and maintenance of common applications such as Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, Wildfly, Squid, LDAP NFS, DHCP, DNS, and SNMP
- Solid understanding of layer 7, load balancing, HAproxy Linux/UNIX-related network services, TCP/IP networking, CDNs
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible/Puppet/Chef/CFEngine)
- Proficiency in one of Python, PHP, Perl, or Ruby for operations scripts and text processing
- Exposure to both cloud and data center operations is a must
- Experience with deploying and supporting applications on cloud-based monolithic infrastructure.
- Experience with source code versioning, preferable experience in GIT
- Exposure to technologies around Site Reliability ie Application tiers, Database tiers and Infrastructure tiers
Good to have (Plus) :
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Development leaders in developing product visions and strategies
- Experience with big data systems (e.g. Hadoop, MAPR) a plus
- Experience with distributed systems, distributed-shared filesystem a plus
- Experience with containerization to include one or more of the following Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, Marathon, etc
