Job Description of Sr. PHP Developer
You will be joining a growing company that was established in California in 2004 and is financially strong with a successful track record of building market-leading products. We have designed/built/implemented software products for a number of cool Silicon Valley start-ups, large global corporations and prestigious governments.
We are looking for passionate Product Developers who would be involved in product designing and developing, working directly with a multi-national team of accomplished software engineers in India, South Africa, Colombia, and the US.
Our PHP Professionals interact directly with other tech team members, as well as functional business managers and end-users for the product around the globe
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Specific technical skills required:
- 5+ years of PHP / LAMP development experience as a developer and hands-on developing and designing, with a demonstratable track record of developing and building scalable systems
- 2+ years of experience using PHP5 via OOP. Proven background and knowledge in design patterns.
- 3+ years of JSON, JQuery development.
- 3+ years of REST, SOAP, Web Services and experience of using 3rd party APIs.
- 2+ years of experience using source control systems (Mercurial, Git, CVS, VSS, SVN etc. Mercurial is strongly preferred)
- 4+ years of PHP IDE Experience (preferably PDT 2.X) using xDebug.
- 2+ years within an eCommerce environment (x-cart or eCommerce)
- 3+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, etc.)
- 1+ years of technical leadership experience
