Our client is a well established, technology-focused B2B loan marketplace and holds a patented technology solution for channel partners. They set out with the objective of making the entire loan process better and transparent with the help of technology and have seen a steady growth since their launch.
The Job
- You will report and work closely with the CTO and Engineering Manager to achieve the Company's strategic objectives. You must work well in a team environment and have an innovative approach.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Designing and developing applications primarily on the (LAMP) framework.
- Analysing, designing, coding, testing, documenting and deploying changes to the system
- Reviewing all code to ensure no error exists.
- Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications
- Maintaining existing codebase, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features
The Profile :
- You have a Masters/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of programming experience.
- You have demonstrated proficiency with LAMP architecture (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Python).
- You are proficient with scripting - Python/Perl and have hands on experience with MySQL (Indexing, Scaling)
- You have experience working on Image libraries, Image recognitions.
- You have basic understanding on Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
- You are well versed in MVC architecture and have a good understanding of RESTful API development
- You are an expert in Object Oriented Design, and MVC (Multi-Tier Architecture/ Framework)
- Having a good understanding of R Programming, Solr, Sphinx, NoSQL, MongoDB is a plus
- Prior knowledge of PHP, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax, Css, Angular and Node.Js(Stack) would be beneficial
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environment
