PHP Developer
Hyderabad (Work from Home till Corona settles down)
What you'll be doing:
- Working collaboratively with both the London-based team and the Hyderabad-based team 11AM IST to 8PM IST (with flexibility)
- Using the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software and web applications
- Delivering high quality PHP code with emphasis on best practices
- Helping drive the choice of technologies used as we transform our applications and experiment with the best new tools for the job based on upcoming industry trends
- Managing pull requests and delivering feedback to other team members
Requirements :
Must have :
- A working knowledge of SOLID and Object Oriented Programming principles as well as clean code methodologies (DRY, KISS)
- A desire to write clean, extendable and easy-to-read code
- An interest in growth and personal development
- The ability to cover the code they write with unit, integration and functional tests
- Experience with working with cloud environments (ideally with AWS)
- Experience using an MVC framework (ideally Laravel)
- Comfortable working with relational databases like MySQL/MariaDB
- The ability to demonstrate awareness of useful resources that they use in order to stay up to date with best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (code reviews, feedback, support other team members)
