Position : Senior Laravel Developer
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer (PHP, LAMP, Laravel). You will get to work on the full development lifecycle and work on exciting projects from the get-go. You will be passionate about coding and get to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring the more junior team members.
The Role :
You will be working as part of an internal development team focusing on the ongoing development of an online, bespoke, web-based, designed to streamline the content delivery workflow as well as provide campaign-specific real-time proof of play and analytic data.
Experience Required :
- The Senior PHP Developer (PHP, LAMP, Laravel) will have experience of the technologies below, plus a good level of MVC design patterns.
- Working to an agile development methodology, the successful candidate will be able to work within a small team and be conversant with the terminology and activities to ensure all development is handled in line with industry best practices.
- The Senior PHP Developer (PHP, LAMP, Laravel) will have a minimum of 5 years experience with :
a) Laravel
b) MySQL and MongoDB
c) Git
d) Server Administration (apache, SSH, FTP and MySQL)
e) JavaScript, CSS, and bootstrap
f) Json/XML
g) Cron Jobs
h) Bootstrap / jQuery
i) Web Services (REST API / SOAP)
j) OAuth (2.0)
k) Ticket system - JIRA or similar
l) Collaboration Platform - Confluence or similar
m) MYOB / XERO / QuickBooks integration
Responsibilities :
- Designing and building new features and services
- Developing new REST APIs
- Writing unit tests to ensure high code coverage
