Job Description:
1. This can be internal team member or partly internal team and partially 3rd party to support AWS ( or other cloud ) deployment
2. Internal Operations :
a. Maintain all servers - Regular update of OS, system packages like PHP, Laravel and other libraries, tools, maintain their versions and sync up across all servers
b. Responsible for regular backup of all Data / files and if require able to restore the same
c. Deployment Responsibilities - Product versioning, scripts to deploy the code in various servers
3. Production Server Deployment :
a. AWS production server / network setup ( like AWS instances, DB instances, Load Balancer etc)
b. Security - Identify tools, libraries, certificates required for security and deployment of the same
c. Economical usage of AWS resources while maintain high availability, scalability and reliability
d. It will be good, if DevOp take responsibility for Git branching and deployment methodology and also develop automation scripts for all these activities
