Education - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
Ideally, you
- Have experience building complex web applications
- Are proficient in PHP, Laravel/Symfony, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Have thorough understanding of OOP, MVC, ORM, and RESTful APIs
- Are very comfortable with Git and GitHub
- Enjoy working with PHPUnit
- Know Agile methodology and have working knowledge of Trello or similar tool
- Enjoy the idea of deploying your own code on your first day of work and being responsible for what happens
- Are passionate about user experience
- Can write clean and compact code
- Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent collaborative skill, like to give attention to detail and comfortable working in a loosely structured organization
Nice to have
- Experience with Heroku or Engine Yard
- Experience with Vagrant, Forge, Lumen, Envoyer
- Experience with Behat, Mink
- Good understanding of templating engines such as Twig, Blade
- Experience with Express.js, Angular.js and Node.js
