About Quantile Bangalore team

The Bangalore office is led by Biswanath and Yogesh, each of whom have a decade worth of relevant work experience. Top of the class Computer Science graduates from IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi respectively, they started their careers in quantitative finance with the hedge fund's founding partners in NYC. Their forte has been processing large, unstructured datasets into actionable information, across various domains. They have been successful entrepreneurs, and sold their last venture to Dailyhunt, India's largest content aggregator.

Job description: Quantitative analyst/developer

The problems we- re solving are cutting-edge, evolving and fast-paced, reflecting the world of finance. Your primary project metrics will be guided by the following:

- Simplicity in product design, execution and end-use (the - Steve Jobs- way)

- Accuracy is paramount in this field

- Fast turnaround time and multiple iterations

- You'll be working on projects aligned to the company's focus areas as outlined above, based on your interests and business demands.

Education: BE/B.Tech from IIT/BHU/NIT/IIIT/BITS/BIT/VIT Vellore/ISM/DTU/DA-IICT/NSIT or similar Tier I/II colleges (Bachelors' Degree should be from one of these)

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 2-3 yrs in a programming role, preferably in a hedge fund/algo trading/finance firm

Required skills :

- Full-stack development experience preferred. However, only front-end or back-end experience is also fine, if there is good programming proficiency

- Proficiency in Python (preferred) and/or PHP/C++/JavaScript/Angular/JS

- End-to-end product development experience (leading a project is appreciated even more)

- Numerical and problem solving ability

- Ability to learn and be flexible in a fast changing environment. The world of quant finance is moving fast, and our work and projects reflect that.

Preferred skills :

- Experience in programming in the finance domain

- Work experience in a hedge fund/algo trading/finance firm will help

- Business knowledge about quantitative finance and trading
