Skills/Experience Required :
- Deep understanding of Wordpress architecture
- High level of competence with Wordpress best practices
- Experience in WordPress security and optimization
- Profound experience in WordPress Theme and Plugin Development and customization
- Knowledge and experience in developing custom functionality and features within the WordPress architecture.
- Experience in WooCommerce development is a huge plus
- Experience in front-end web development, mobile responsive design using frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation CSS,
- Experience in PSD to HTML5 CSS3 Conversion,
- Expert in PHP/MySQL and profound experience in PHP based frameworks like Codeigniter / Laravel / Symfony
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery.
- Ability to work with Git repository technology and workflows
- Experience with SOAP, REST APIs is a plus
- Knowledge of SASS/SCSS/LESS
- Experience with a DigitalOcean and AWS website deployment is a plus
- Knowledge of AngularJS is a plus
- Experience in other platforms like Shopify, Magento, Joomla. Drupal is a plus
- Should have worked in 2 or more published WordPress sites.
Developer Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage web applications using WordPress platform
- Develop new features. Themes and plugins
- Customize existing themes and plugin
- Build third-party integration using API
- Manage WordPress Version Updates in sites
- Manage Theme and Plugin Updates
- Provide technical support and site changes as per client request
- Handle site backup and security updates
- Manage site performance and optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot, document problem resolutions and organize documentation
- Diagnose and fix bugs
- Understand the performance bottlenecks of WordPress and write optimized code
- Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision
- Coordinate well with the team
