Job Description:
- Design solutions that mesh ideally with an enterprise environment.
- Define features, phases, and solution requirements and recommend best practices for the entire solution.
- Define the specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
- Define and set processes for development, test, release, update, and support for DevOps operation.
- Build from the ground up reliable infrastructure services in AWS/Azure to deliver highly scalable services.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production AWS /Azure environment and ensure their ongoing support once there.
- Design and develop engineering automation and productivity tools to troubleshoot, streamline, and scale applications in the production environment.
- Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
- Maintain the integrity of the network, server deployment, and network security.
- Identifying and deploying appropriate security measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
Candidate Profile :
- Working knowledge of various deployment tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Experience in AWS services including but not limited to EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, CloudFormation, Opsworks, RDS, Route53, SQS, IAM, SES, API Gateway, EMR, Autoscale, Cloud watch, etc. Similar experience with Azure cloud services.
- Experience in setting up monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, New Relic, ELK
- Excellent database management skills and managing databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, others.
- Experience in failover configuration and Disaster Recovery process setup
- Good hold of critical concepts in DevOps and agile principles
- Good hold in Linux OS and technologies around the same.
- Must have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code of various technologies e.g. Python, Java, PHP etc. and help the development team to do better.
- Good communication skills.
