Job description
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, well-designed code and contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Create website architecture to generate new features and plugins, custom functionality, and custom pages.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Creation / Modification of plugins, widgets written to conform to the WordPress coding standards.
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
- Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoots content issues.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, B.Sc. in Any Specialization, BCA in Computers.
- Experience: At least 2yrs of experience in building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Good knowledge on WordPress development and life cycle (theme hierarchy, plugins etc.)
- Knowledge of Customization of themes & plugins.
- Technical expertise in frontend technologies JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap 4, HTML5, CSS3.
- Knowledge in PHP CORE.
- Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions.
- Creation of custom post types.
- Theme Template integration.
- Knowledge of web services.
- A portfolio of previous projects to show implementing core and extending WordPress functionality.
