Ideal candidate should have the below experience / qualities:
- 5+ years of experience developing microservices API using PHP technology and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks.
- Ability to create thoughtful, scalable, and sustainable feature sets.
- Well exposure to web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, JSTL, XSLT, RESTFUL web services.
- Good understanding on the API Management concepts which includes API Design & Development, Security, Governance & Control, API Documentation, API Monitoring & reporting.
- Substantial experience in Integration and transformation experience
- Experience of modern API technologies.
- Experience of Azure Search Services
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Consistently displays a positive approach to the working environment.
- Ability to work with Designers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers to quickly turn around requirements.
- Analytical and decision making skills.
Roles and responsibilities of this role would include the below:
- Design and develop high quality and performance effective SOAP/Rest Web Services API with high quality using PHP frameworks.
- Implement high impact API Management based solutions using APIGEE.
- Support the application/Service after promoting the code to the production environments.
- Implement API security and orchestration using APIGEE.
- Involve in requirement analysis and data mapping activities.
- Create requirements specifications using the Swagger.
- Documentation of the design, developments and test plan in confluence.
- Get involved in story point estimation and user story creation using agile methodology.
- Used JIRA to track the User Stories and Epics.
- Carry out performance testing using J-Meter.
- Take ownership of software components and associated development and testing in terms of timelines and quality.
- Involved in the designing the architecture for the end-to-end flow for the APIs.
- Review code for APIs in the GIT Repository.
