The Front End Software Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for internally built custom and COTS applications per best practices and company standards. They will also work as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate requirements. They have responsibility for Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, wireframes, process flows and sitemaps as well as designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets. They will be part of a geographically diverse team of Engineers responsible for delivering products to support our global business.
This role will provide the necessary experience and leadership for the design and development of the assigned applications using approved toolsets to help promote and foster an agile mindset. They will deliver design, configuration and development tasks for successful feature implementation, validation and deployment of all responsible applications.
Required Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's Degree or higher.
2. Five to eight (5 to 8) years of demonstrated experience using Angular, jQuery, PHP, HTML and CSS.
3. Proven work experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role for custom and COTS applications (like SAP).
4. Extensive experience writing JavaScript, Python, PowerShell and Bash scripts.
5. Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc, Drawi.IO, Visio and InVision)
6. Track record of implementing innovative new technologies.
7. Proven leadership skills and ability to interact with onshore/offshore staff while showing respect for others, acknowledge and build on others- ideas, and support group decisions.
8. Ability to maintain attention to detail and deliver with high precision in a face passed, fluid environment.
9. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
10. Fluent written and spoken English.
11. Able to work production hours (2p-11p IST) on a consistent basis and off-hours as needed to support specific deployment requirements.
