Objective of this Role :
- Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions
- Build high performance, scalable, cloud based technologies using open-source and proprietary technologies
- Write maintainable, well documented code with extensive test coverage
- Work in a professional software engineering environment
- Identify viable technical solutions and alternatives across all elements of the business
Responsibilities :
- Developing front end website architecture
- Designing user interactions on web pages
- Developing back end website applications
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product. Designing and developing APIs
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
- Ability to translate requirements into rules engine
- Workflow type development activities
Basic Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science or 4 + years as an experienced Full Stack Engineer
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS,
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP
- Familiarity with database technology such as PostGreS, Oracle and SQL Server
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of finance applications, accounting and ERP
