Job Description :
Turing.com is looking for a Kubernetes and Golang Engineer on behalf of a US based venture capital fund that specializes in investing in startups. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to participate in the entire software development lifecycle including development, automated test construction, deployment and operations. The candidate will be working on an Agile Scrum team building shippable product increments that meet the goals set with product owners. The role requires someone with excellent communication skills and a team player mindset.
Job Responsibilities :
- Work in a DevOps focused team owning and operating the services you create in accordance with service level objectives you define
- Use Kubernetes for deploying applications by using prior experience and a solid understanding of operators, frameworks, networking, logging/monitoring and infrastructure
- Management of enterprise data pipelines using AWS SNS/SQS
- Configuration and management of AWS resources using Terraform
- Automation of Kubernetes API for deployment/updates/patching/upgrades of applications, daemon-sets, stateful sets etc.
- Develop unit and automated integration tests that give the team confidence to deploy to production on a predictable cadence
- Produce comprehensive software documentation for internal teams and customers
- Provide product support to internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Production experience in different programming languages, solid in Go and PHP
- Solid knowledge of the Linux OS system management
- Deep understanding of Ubuntu, RHEL, Amazon Linux, etc.
- Experience configuring and running Kubernetes environments and a familiarity with the Kubernetes SDK and development of Kubernetes operators
- Prior experience in AWS EKS setup using terraform and helm charts
- Must have operational experience with Fluentd, Prometheus, Istio, Anchore, Falcon
