Opera is looking for excellent software developers for our Web Applications team. We are looking for developers with a passion for developing Javascript based client side software and an understanding of user centered design. Responsibilities
* Implementation of client side applications, tools and libraries
* Innovate related to client side technology and applications in order to make the Opera browser an even more future oriented product
* Work with other parts of the organization to ensure that the Opera web browser has the right feature set to support AJAX applications
Requirements
* Good knowledge of web standards
* Preferably some server side development experience, e.g. PHP or Java
* Enthusiasm and motivation for working with complex problems and browser technology
* Strong programming skills
* BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
* Strong knowledge of technologies like Javascript/ECMAScript, DOM, CSS and XML and current trends like AJAX
