Job description:
The candidate should have working knowledge and exposure in web development field in LAMP technology. The desired candidate would be involved in full software development/ web applications / website development life cycle starting from requirement analysis to testing. The candidate must be very proficient in PHP/ MYSQL and must be capable of handling projects in a team or independently. The ideal candidate for junior development role would be able to perform the following activities:
Job Description for Jr. Developer (1-2 years of Exp):
1. Candidate should be Enthusiastic to work in a team and feel positive about the work; he/ she should be friendly, approachable and a good team player with excellent self learning skills.
2. Write excellent code in PHP/ My-SQL (Documentation and commenting)
3. Be able to work independently or with a team with little input and guidance given by the senior members of the team.
4. Have the initiative to drive forward the team's efforts to meet the deadline and deliver a quality product that the team can be proud of and the client is happy too!
5. Have a good understanding of object oriented programming and its practical approach in web application development.
6. Have self-respect and be loyal to their career and not be involved in unethical activities in the office.
7. Must possess excellent object oriented thinking abilities and programming experience.
8. Working experience in UML and object oriented modeling is a definite plus.
Job description for Sr. Developer (3-5 years of Exp):
The candidates for "Senior Development" role will perform the following duties:
1. Mentor and lead a team of junior developers.
2. Take up system analysis, design, documenting responsibilities and get it done in time. He/ she should be able to perform code analyzing and reading exercises for current and previous projects.
3. The Sr. developer will lead developers; Apart from this he will/ can be involved in the coding activities besides the team management role. All necessary support will be provided for smooth execution of projects. The senior developers will keep a track and reviews on existing projects to identify bottlenecks, bugs, performance issues and involve the team to study and learn from existing projects.
4. Must be able to implement best practices in coding.
5. Must be able to devise ways and means to obtain performance metrics of applications and optimize applications.
6. Must possess excellent attention to detail and be able to familiarize and quickly learn new Software / framework / languages / technology with ease.
7. Must be able to apply innovative thinking at work.
