Business Analyst/Project Manager (3-5 yrs) (Accord Consultants)

Job Title: Business Analyst / Project Manager

Company Profile:

A rapidly growing software technology development company based in Australia, Singapore and Pune, working in the mobility and cloud-based technology.

The Company has developed an innovative business enterprise transaction platform encompassing mPOS card-present and mobile payments. They are investing in charity donation payments, card payments, voucher-based stored value, real-time location-based customer engagement and mobility software as part of the platform.

The Client develops its own software platforms and provides software development services to a range of clients in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada and USA and focusing on mobile apps, web applications, ERP systems, IOT (internet of things), payments and customized software development.

Responsibilities:

- Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders (users/clients, development team, business team, etc) for mobility and cloud-based software applications within SCRUM Agile environment.

- Facilitate the negotiation of requirements among stakeholders and identify current and future business processes.

- Create, analyse and validate detailed functional requirements, specifications and technical reports supporting an agile application team while assisting business stakeholders to envision the future.

- Deliver elements of systems design including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes and other detailed deliverables.

- Facilitating design sessions with teams to define solutions, software applications, system improvements and design modifications.

- Facilitate all team meetings, including daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint demo, retros, testing / quality assurance processes and more.

- Implement incremental and adaptive delivery of software products

- Schedule/facilitate sprint planning meetings prior to the beginning of each sprint involving story estimation and detailed task creation while managing team capacity / velocity based on availability and task complexity.

Skills & Experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in Software Service Projects business analysis for mobile (Android & iOS both) and cloud-based applications.

- 3+ years of experience in working as a SCRUM agile environment.

- Must have excellent analytical skills to solve problems, issues and design product functionality.

- Good understanding of Web and Mobile Architecture and concepts

- Ability to question every aspect of an application under test to learn about it from a business requirement perspective.

- Strong experience in providing clear concise articulation and documentation of business requirements.

- Skills in assessment of risks of various solutions and designs and prioritizing competing business demands.

- Strong experience in analyzing business and technical requirements and managing projects within a SCRUM Agile methodology.

- Strong experience and understanding of mobile technologies such as Android and Cloud-based software developed in .NET, PHP utilizing Google Services such as Location Services, Charts, etc.

- Excellent SCRUM Agile project management and organizational skills.

- Excel at engaging with stakeholders to incorporate usability and user interface needs into designing systems and software solutions.

- Good skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement and increasing transparency.

- Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques such as Defined Stories, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Continuous Integration, Continuous testing, Test Scripts/Execution, Release Notes, Code refactoring Automated testing, pairing and other agile engineering practices etc.

- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team such as .NET, PHP, Xamarin, React Native, Android, MS SQL and QA.

- Preferred Hands-on experience with quality assurance.

- Tackle daily challenges with your creative problem-solving recommendations.

- Sound Experience of Modeling Tools Azure & Axure RP9

Qualifications:

- BTech/BSc/BE in Computer Science or equivalent study.

- Advanced degrees are preferred.

- Broad software domain experience in three or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance and Support.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with development and business teams and external international clients.

- Conceptual and analytical thinking and solution decision-making skills.

- Demonstrated analytical skills with good understanding of information technology, business concepts and functions.

- Strong demonstrable problem-solving abilities.

- Team leader/player with strong organisation and analytical skills.

- Proven ability to understand complex business requirements.

- Ability to be proactive, finding solutions to problems and meeting deadlines. Good time management.

- Great attention to detail when it comes to identifying improved workflows and solutions within software applications.

- A passion for technology and developing best of breed products.

- Willingness to share and explore with the team to keep ideas and information flowing for ever improving product development.

- Must reference software projects you have been involved with from either a Business Analyst or Scrum Master perspective that are available today.
