Job Description :
- The project manager is responsible to look after the development of web platform and mobile applications of Filmboard.
- The incumbent in this role will have to be hands-on with coding for the open source applications along with AWS management.
- The person will also be responsible to manage the complete project development.
- He/She will have need to build the team gradually.
- Once created, regular management of the complete platform will also be the responsibility of the incumbent in this position.
List of Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Code and develop the Filmboard's web and mobile platform
2. Follow good coding practices; for eg. proper commenting is being done while coding
3. Project Management of the software development including Version control, adherence to timelines, meeting milestones and ensuring that the software is ready to use in the stipulated time.
4. Manage the team of developers by giving them daily/weekly coding targets, monitoring progress vis--vis timeline set, maintaining a strong control of the project schedule & ensure that team deliver the software on time
5. Optimize the website on an ongoing basis, based on the usage
Critical Job Requirements :
Knowledge & Skills :
- Conversant on PHP with Codeigniter and sound knowledge of Bootstrap
- Tools for code management, version control, bug/defect tracking. Thorough familiarity with Github, Bitbucket etc.
- Project Management exposure
Attributes :
- Competent to handle multiple software developers
- Should be able to differentiate between a good code and a bad code
- Ability to build and manage a team of PHP developers and HTML programmers
