The Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Cloud Ops team and manager to test system integrity.
- Responsible for automation using either Docker, Puppet, Ansible, Chef or an equivalent.
- This person will architect, deploy and manage the Kubernetes platform.
- Design and implement build, deployment, release and configuration management of production systems.
- Test implemented designs.
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
- Handle code deployments in all environments.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations.
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is an add on).
- Responsible for writing of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby) will be an add on.
The Requirement:
- Solid experience as a DevOps/Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon AWS environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Zabbix etc).
- Strong command in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Experience with CI/CD Tools Like Jenkins etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Docker, Puppet, Ansible, Chef or an equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good Attitude & Team Player.
- Mix of big corporate and software start-up experience.
