Critical Skills and Abilities:
- An expert programmer, skilled at computer languages such as HTML, C+++, C#, PHP, Python and Java, JavaScript or Go.
- Extensive experience with MongoDB or any other equivalent NoSQL database in terms of deployment, performance tuning and aggregation methodologies.
- Experience in developing multi-tier Client Server Architecture Strong Version control skills (GIT, SVN)
- Extensive experience in server-side development using NodeJS., User Interfaces based on MVC model.
- Experience in Java script frameworks/libraries such as JQuery, Angular, Backbone and experience in containerization and virtualization software applications like Docker, Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well
- Working experience in agile teams.
- Ability and willingness to handle multiple projects at a time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performance tuning, resolving scalability related issues at server side.
- Experience in memory footprint optimization on low end devices
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.
