Position : Senior Software Engineer - Drupal
Location : Anywhere in India / Work From Home - Full Time
Experience : Min. 5 Years of experience
Technical Skills :
- Drupal 7 / Drupal 8 Content Management Systems (CMS), LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
- Experience in building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Drupal8 Certified Developer preferred.
- Expertise in PHP development and Drupal.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and mainstream JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and working knowledge of Ajax.
- Good understanding of web technologies and HTTP. Good Linux skills HTML and CSS skills commensurate with years of experience.
- Git knowledge/ version control knowledge and skills.
- Contribution in open source community.
- Must have strong knowledge of PHP CLASSES and OOPS Concept
- Good with RDBMS & writing custom SQL, Drupal API experience.
- Should be able to code as per Drupal standard coding and well versed with implementation and configuration of most commonly used modules.
- Must have strong web knowledge in terms of developed Secured and High-Performance websites.
Responsibilities :
- At least 5 years of extensive experience in PHP and specifically Drupal 8 custom module-level development including designing and implementation of new features and functionality
- Experience in creating custom Drupal modules and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing and intuitive implementation
- Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture along with Drupal module and theme development experience
- Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels
- Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
- Should have experience in any one of the following PHP frameworks like Zend, Symphony, Cake PHP
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs
- Assist junior team members in understanding and writing quality code, conducting code reviews with developers, code refactoring.
- Also, assist and support projects with their technological challenge.
