Roles and responsibilities:
- Testing all aspects of the product/ system like function/ component, system, performance, regression, and service
- Design and develop end-to-end tests - API, Integration, Functional from Verification perspective.
- Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management.
- Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
- Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.
- Manage life cycle of a test and a defect.
- Act as a quality gatekeeper for the products/systems under development.
- Develop effective test automation framework(s).
- Implement efficient continuous integration.
- Publish metrics (Key Performance Indicators) that measures effectiveness of tests and practices.
To be a Software Tester, you- ll need :
- 1-3 years of experience in designing and developing automation tests along with strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.
- Strong hands on experience on PHP, Javascript, HTML.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Hands on experience with test automation tools/frameworks.
- Software programming skills.
- Experience working with source control and configuration management tools like TFS.
- Experience and understanding of build management, continuous integration (CI).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience :
- BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline
- 1 -3 years- relevant experience
