Core Responsibilities :
- Working with developers and product managers to understand requirements and use cases
- Creating test plans and test cases during the design and implementation of cross-channel features
- Write a detailed system and feature-based test plans from product requirements and functional specifications
- Implementing and maintaining automated test suites for integration tests, API tests, UI tests, and system tests
- Collaborating with product management, architecture, and development divisions to plan comprehensive system and feature test plans
- Work with engineering teams towards continuous quality improvement with the integration, smoke and regression test plans
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
Essential Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications :
- B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation and testing
- Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and test-driven development
- Good understanding of databases, SQL, and application servers
- Good experience & knowledge in Mobile app automation fundamentals - Appium
- Good experience with different Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android)
- Experience with browser-based UI automation and Selenium/Robot frameworks
- Experience with API testing and understanding of the release dynamics
- Proven ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, iterative product definition, and development environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, PHP will be a plus
- Experience with SaaS environment and/or Cloud Services is a plus
