Job Description: Back-end Software Developer
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Liaise with front-end developers, designers to optimize performance and improve UI
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 2-3 years of software development experience
- Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience with 3rd party libraries and API
- Experience using Amazon Web Services and Google Could Platform
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Solid understanding and hands on experience with PHP, Python and JavaScript programming languages
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS
