To support our international expansion, Bitcoin Wednesday is looking for a Senior Full Stack PHP Developer with strong leadership skills, a sense of vision and balance with -- above all -- a talent for creating beautiful, functional software. You- ll be part of the team and behind the scenes of the longest-running monthly cryptocurrency conference in The Netherlands featuring some of the most important names in the industry.
One of the challenges of the assignment is contributing both independently and within a geographically distributed team to what may prove to be one of the most exciting tech revolutions of our lifetime.
Minimum Background :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years relevant software development experience, including :
- Linux, Apache, MYSQL, PHP, Wordpress, Github, Javascript, SASS Bootstrap.
- Experience working with international organizations.
- Disciplined and driven, excellent strategically and tactically.
- Naturally well-organized with exceptional work habits.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proven ability to deliver results quickly, take initiative and build productive relationships.
- Familiarity with an interest in Scrum/Agile methodologies and processes.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Jenkins, Node, Angular, MongoDB, React, data-driven UX, SEO and CRO.
- Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
- Talent for thriving in a deadline-driven environment, while accepting ownership and accountability for process, results and delivering on commitments.
- Analytical skills, a data-driven approach to decision making and a systems-thinking style when problem solving.
- Curiosity about and appreciation for cutting edge, disruptive technologies.
- Advanced education or experience in engineering, computer science or another technical related field.
