Job Description :
- Minimum 4+ years of experience working with high scale web applications - live website traffic, consumer facing is preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years PHP and JS web development experience and experience with the LAMP stack
- Strong experience with modern HTML/CSS
- Competent in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Have experience optimizing web server configurations and scaling web applications
- Experience with at least one other programming language such as Ruby, Java, or python is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of software build cycles
- Experience in working on Agile methodology
- Supporting the maintenance of the GeM web application and the development of new features
- Responsible for translation of requirements into specifications and ensuring development quality and delivery on time
- Responsible for real-time issue resolution of issues on production systems related to marketplace functionality
- Maintain working knowledge of different aspects of the GeM application source code and business logic
- Support continuous optimization of database servers and implementation of best practices in disaster recovery
- Work towards maintaining good design and software coding standards and developing efficient application business logic
- Work collaboratively with the GeM MSP to implement scalable technical architecture and ensure good unit test coverage
- Any other responsibility as assigned by the competent authority from time to time
