Qualification :
- 6+ years minimum of relevant work experience
- Superb English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Advanced level use of SaaS applications for personal and professional organizational efforts (ie. Asana, Git, Basecamp, Trello, etc.)
- Seasoned experience as a leading manager a small-to-medium-sized team of software developers and engineers (ie. Sr. PHP / LAMP, Front End, Project Managers)
- Non - technical business leaders must be able to go to the Engineering Manager (EM) with a use case and the EM must translate to technical requirements, be able to implement, and must be able to lead other developers to deliver solution.
- To start the role will require at least 60-70% of time on implementation in PHP, HTML, JS, AWS using an MVC framework.
- As the team scales up, EM time will reallocate towards managing team's process and deliverables.
- Technical Competency Priorities PHP / MySQL (must be on MVC framework: Laravel, Symphony, Fuel, Yii, Cake, or equivalent)
- Git based source control in a team setting
- AWS
- HTML / CSS / JS
