We are seeking a talented PHP/Python developer to support the development of a new and exciting business solution as well as to provide support and development services for our key international projects and product lines. The ideal candidate will have a can- do attitude, passion for technology, extensive PHP/Python and MySQL development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.
In the role of Developer, you will lead our Technology Team, providing planning and development of projects of various scale, form, and duration, utilizing your expert knowledge of PHP/Python and MySQL. You will use your eye for detail and obsession for clean, well composed code to build out a range of projects from dynamic web applications, digital devices to mobile web applications, playing a critical role in bringing the company's vision to life. Working collaboratively with each of our practice areas, you will collaborate with your peers to assess project plans for feasibility, while providing your own input from a technology perspective. The candidate should have some team leadership experience in working with sub-contractors and other developers that might be assigned to projects being led by you.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years- experience with PHP, Python MySQL, Linux, Apache Server.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, and 3rd party platforms and libraries.
- Experience working within a team setting
- History of successful schedule and budget management
- Solid trouble shooting, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies
- Understanding of / experience with unit testing and source code control
- Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of industry, able to make recommendations to customize solutions for the company and its customers.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
