Our client, a leading IT company in Ahmedabad, is urgently hiring Ruby on Rails Developer.
Please note that this is NOT REMOTE WORK/WORK FROM HOME. You would be working full time from the office in Ahmedabad atleast until the probation period.
Designation : Ruby on Rails Developer
Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Working Days : 5 days a week
CTC : Upto 8.5 lacs p.a.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
- Design robust, scalable and secure features
- Experience working with Ruby on Rails as well as libraries like Resque and RSpec
- Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, code standards)
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
- Proven working experience in developing applications with Ruby on Rails
- Proven working experience in software development
Skills/ Experience/ Desired Parameters:
- Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS & JQuery
- A firm grasp of object oriented analysis and design
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Experience with popular web application frameworks {such as Rails, Lotus, etc }
- Developing highly interactive applications
- Good knowledge of relational databases
