Job Description :
We are looking software engineers with PHP and Magento 8 experience and who can carry out assigned tasks independently to closure. Candidate should comfortable working with a fast-moving environment and can learn quickly.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Ability to write software modules that meet Zyxware quality standards.
- They should be able to debug their own module where required, Ability to build custom html templates and themes (CMS),
- Good knowledge in HTML5/CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Ajax.
- Building full stack magento software as per the technical directions given by team / teach leads
- Git, familiarity in command line (SSH), Drush, cPanel, plesk.
- Execution as per requirements and technical design under minimal supervision
- Instances where the functionality had to be rebuilt, ability to adhere to design specifications, useful suggestions on technical design and requirements note -
- Timeliness of Execution - Ability to assess the feasibility of estimated time lines, execution with agreed upon estimated time, early warning in case of anticipated delays - Quality of Execution - Coding standards, use of abstraction, reusable components, modifications of structure required or not, bugs and repetition of bugs Documentation
- Updating tickets properly, Relevant and meaningful commit messages, Meaningful commenting of codes
- Contributions to Magento communities etc.
- Assists in coding, testing, debugging, and documenting simple programs, and assists in the implementation of software which forms part of a properly engineered information or communications system.
- Can build Magento Modules, ideally a certified Magento Developer. Well versed with Site Building and basics of theming.
- Can work with pre-processing of themes, has good knowledge of using Magento APIs to build modules, and has good knowledge of Magento best practices and coding standards.
