Marketing Frontend Developer
Verloop is looking for an individual contributor who will own the marketing dev effort at Verloop. You will be required to own the website and work with various teams to ensure the website is mobile optimized. You are someone who is actively working in the WordPress realm and on plugin development and who is knowledgeable about the most recent WordPress releases and standards.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :
- At least 2-6 years of experience as a frontend web development
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and jQuery
- Working knowledge of developing using WordPress standards
- Good understanding of accessibility considerations and web standards
- Experience creating custom WordPress plugins
- Intimate understanding of Custom Post Types
- Experience coding WordPress themes
- Knowledge of technical SEO
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and improve our website and long-form landing pages
- Troubleshoot and resolve site issues within timeline according to severity/criticality of the issues with the goal of improving conversion rates
- Diagnose development-related problems and formulate solutions using existing technologies
- Understand of mobile and web technical SEO optimization for different devices and browsers
