About The Role :
- We are looking for a Software Developer who has hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies. You will work with an online product management team to define software requirements and develop the backend to achieve business goals.
- Your goal will be to develop, maintain & optimize high-quality software that is aligned with business needs.
Key Skills Required :
- Strong understanding of any backend language preferably python.
- An analytical mind and have the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience with server management, Apache2/Nginx and docker.
- Experience with queuing services such as rabbitmq.
- Experience in developing high performing, highly scalable and reusable code.
- Good understanding of Relational Database.
- Experience with ElasticSearch or mongoDB.
- Proficient with Git & GitHub.
- Good to have: Experience with Redis, Varnish, DNS management, AWS.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and understand business requirements working with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and enhance product offerings in accordance with design and consistent with business objectives.
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
- Make sure that the solutions being developed are effective and take into consideration performance implications for a production environment.
- Ensure that development tasks are completed within the timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects.
- Capable to scale applications to support growing business & customer needs.
