Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- The PHP Developer is expected to be able to perform all aspects of the development tasks, including front- end, back- end, and database development.
- Develop web sites, applications and rich multi- media experiences according to the brief and technical specifications.
- Must have experience and knowledge in PHP Laravel Framework .
- The applicant is expected to possess strong problem-solving skills programming, testing and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have knowledge of web services and serialization techniques like REST, SOAP, XML & JSON.
- Proficiency in PHP, jQuery, Javascript, CSS, HTML, MySQL.
- Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
- PHP(Laravel knowledge is a must), MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, AJAX, Symphony responsive front-end frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap), Git.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Familiar with REST API's and Integration with third-party API's
- Should be capable of handling a team and multiple projects
- Hands on Experience in an e-commerce environment would be an added advantage
- Adhering to project coding standards and recommending improvements
- Modifying existing software to correct errors, allowing it to function in new operating environments
- Develop and manage highly trafficked, highly scalable web properties with PHP5 using Laravel/ZEND CodeIgniter/Yii/Symfony framework.
- Must have hands-on experience with PHP frameworks-Zend, Kohana, Laravel CodeIgniter, Yii, Symfony and Javascript libraries like jQuery/Prototype/Extjs etc.
- Understand the specifications to define system requirements.
- Collaborate and communicate project updates and progress to team members and clients.
- Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document and deploy changes to the system.
