We are looking for a Front-End Magento 2 Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design mockups to actual Magento 2 frontend code that will produce visual elements of the application.
We are currently seeking a full-time Magento developer. Duties would primarily consist of developing new projects & modifying existing websites built using the Magento 2 platform, building custom UI interfaces, identifying quality community extensions & integrating them.
Required Skills :
- Good understanding of Magento's (Magento 2.x.) code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
- Capable of developing and implementing tailor-made Magento templates.
- Thorough experience in customizing Magento's (Magento 2.x) front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
- Proficient in implementing & customizing Magento 2 themes on
- Knowledge in ERP integrations with Magento, caching and scaling techniques, multi-store, multilingual or multi-currency e-commerce implementations would be an advantage.
- Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3
- Good understanding of JavaScript, JQuery
- Must have expertise in Magento 2 data migration, optimizing the website
- Competent with PHP object-oriented programming & MVC applications (LAMP Stack)
- Familiarity with automated deployment strategies
- Expertise in integrating Magento extensions
- Proficient in working with Frontend UI design systems/framework such as Bootstrap 4, etc
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Good knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS
- Good Understand the basic principles of UX and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of Basic Magneto Server side working is a plus.
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance & developer tools
- Attention to detail, problem-solver with strong analytical skill, good sense of urgency
- Ability to carry out tasks without supervision and able to meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities :
- Develop interactive, pixel-perfect Magento 2 responsive UI interfaces
- Modify existing Magento2 website & Themes according to requirement with industry best practices in mind.
- Diagnose and fix UI bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Develop a very high sense of ownership, the zeal to build scalable applications
- Work with a performance-oriented team driven by ownership and open to experiments
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
