Back-end Developer Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Server Side Web Application Logic & Integration of the front end part.
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
Back-end Developer Requirements :
- Fluency in Java, PHP, or Python, and operating systems is required.
- Strong Understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Data migration, transformation, and scripting
- Setup and administration of backups
- Outputting data in different formats
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Experience :
- 3+ years of experience as a Back-end developer
- In-depth understanding of web development
- 3+ years of experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python
- 3 years of experience with CMS framework
