We are seeking a Senior Drupal Developer primarily responsible for back-end development. The successful candidate in this role is responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, updating existing functionality, establishing and guiding the website's architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing technical aspects of the CMS.
This developer will work closely with the project team to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
Responsibilities :
- Will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and monitoring production websites
- Troubleshooting performance problems and fine tuning applications and environments
- Preparing an application for a live environment.
- Ensuring that delivered solutions meet technical and functional requirements by providing support and technical guidance to multiple clients, simultaneously providing the expertise required to review, advise, and assist in the selection of appropriate functionalities
- Preparing Unit-Test case & End-to-End test cases and Test Driven Development Infrastructure of code.
- Determine time estimates to complete tasks.
- Documenting technical specifications.
- Write the application according to specifications.
- Coordinating with Internal & external (designers, administrators, project managers and other programmers).
- Ability to work independently and work with other team members to ensure on-time quality delivery of applications.
- Prioritizing tasks and daily activities.
- Part of a project where he/she will receive the technical specifications and write code from it.
- Daily stand-up meetings to review current progress and obstacles with the direct team.
- Weekly meetings to review with the entire technology team.
Qualifications :
- Skills : PHP, Javascript, HTML, Website Design, CSS, ACQUIA, DRUPAL, ARCHITECT, ENGINEER, VUE JS, GRAPHS, AWS, Backbone.js, Node.js, or JQuery Mobile
- Architect and design Drupal modules (core + custom) to enable functional and non-functional requirements
- 8-10 years of proven and hands-on engineering experience as Drupal Technical Architect
- 6-8 years of deep expertise and mastery of Drupal 7/8/9 combined, including custom module development, key contributed modules and core API (Nodes, Taxonomy, Ctools, Distributions, Configurations, Views, Panels, Forms API, Tokens, Themes, Domain Access, Drush), multi-site, etc.
- Experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations with AWS EC2, S3, CDN, CloudFront, Load Balancer, RDS, Route 53, Code Commit, Pipeline etc
- Strong working knowledge of Vue.js is required. Familiarity and working experience with Laravel, Angular JS, React JS is desirable. Familiarity with SASS/LESS, Bootstrap
- Experience with Composer, Drush (Drupal command line tool), Git, Twig, Jenkins, Apache
- Experience developing and consuming REST web services, AJAX and SOAP/RESTful API usage
- Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal & Wordpress theme layer
- Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing).
- Experience with Agile or iterative SDLCs methodologies
- Familiarity with JIRA or Agile ticketing system and Confluence or other collaborative workspace
- Strong Communication skills with both internal team members as well as customers.
- Able to effectively communicate with third party collaborators to jointly contribute to the project's success.
