Required Skills :
- Prior experience in developing WordPress based websites including customizing themes and plugins.
- Extensive experience with different WordPress plugins. Knowing which ones are best suited for different situations.
- Experience with the building blocks of a website - HTML. CSS, Javascript, and PHP.
- Caring about quality and pixel-perfect layouts.
- Writing clean responsive CSS that adapts to a good experience across devices.
- Knowing how to optimize a website to improve performance and increase Lighthouse scores.
Good to have :
- Experience creating custom themes and/or custom plugins.
- Familiarity with other content management systems.
- Base knowledge of accessibility, SEO, UX, and other aspects of front end development.
- Experience with CSS Preprocessors (SCSS, SASS, LESS, etc).
- Working knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, Figma, or other design tools.
