Job Description :
1) Deliver a scalable data architecture strategy and direction to the internal and external opportunities.
2) In consultation with the Digital Enterprise Architect, contribute to development of data analytics strategy for G&B to support delivery on defined objectives.
3) Design, implement, and evolve robust, secure and effectively aligned data architecture for solutions that operate in the business ecosystem.
4) Develop Digital Infrastructure and ensure Data Quality.
5) Develop and deliver Data Solutions. ie Evaluate the feasibility/relevance of proposed solutions, working in cross- functional or agile teams to develop and deliver significant aspects of the development program.
- Conduct diagnostic across existing data architecture and make future state recommendations in regular intervals.
- Collaborate with Business Analyst, Data scientists, Data Engineers and Data Analysts to ensure understanding and alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
6) Support Digital Projects and Initiatives. ie Collaborate with business unit heads and corporate functions to identify and assist in providing data architecture support across different projects such as digital platform implementations etc.
7) Provide necessary architect support in new and ongoing digital initiatives to ensure seamless data integration.
Skills Required :
- Proficiency in core relational and non-relational database solutions (Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, HDFS etc.)
- Exposure to handling large volumes of domain-specific structured data
- Experience working with distributed software platforms in Hadoop ecosystem (i.e. Hive, Kafka, Spark, etc.) and / or cloud computing services (preferably Azure)
- Advanced knowledge of database design, migration and management
- Understanding of cloud solutions, AI, machine learning and other data science technologies
- Functional knowledge of programming scripting and data science languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, PHP, R, etc.
- Data modeling (Oracle SQL Developer, Database Workbench, ER/Studio)
- Data visualization tools (Excel, Tableau) - Proven experience in design and configuration of data movement, streaming and transformation technologies. etc.
