About the Job : You will be responsible for :
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Providing a solution to business requirements and delivering within agreed timelines.
- Designing new features and functionalities in line with the client requirements.
- Generating custom-tailored Shopify theme and altering the pre-existing template.
- Designing and developing the layout of the e-commerce website.
- Building a custom Shopify theme and also modifying existing themes depending on requirements.
- Migrating websites from other e-commerce platforms to Shopify based on business requirements.
- Developing new Shopify app for enhancing the capabilities of programs.
- Developing existing Shopify apps by analysing and identifying areas for modification.
- Updating the App or add the New features in if found worthy by lead.
- Researching new version of app or change in the current version of the app.
- Version Controlling of the plugins using GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket/svn.
- API development/Integration, integration of Payment Gateways, custom module development.
- App Releases as per the platform standards.
- Researching the various technologies & areas to get ideas for new plugins.
- Quick development of POC/MVP for new plugins.
- Creating technical specifications and test plans.
- Creating and maintaining software documentation.
About the Profile :
- You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- You have at least 3 years in a Software Engineer or similar role.
- You have experienced in PHP/MYSQL with OOPS concept.
- You are proficient in PHP, Jquery, HTML5, CSS3 and Java Script
- You have experience with Code Versioning tools (GIT) and Debugging Tools.
- You have experience on Shopify frontend and backend development as well as liquid and apps development.
- You have working experience in e-commerce domain.
- You have working Experience on the Shopify Platform along with exposure towards application development.
- You have strong hands-on experience on installing and customisation of new Shopify themes.
- You have experience in working with international clients.
- You are willing to work in US and UK shifts.
- You possess good verbal and written communication skills.
